The Olsson family have been making solar sea salt since 1948 – Olsson's Salt is the oldest family owned and operated sea salt maker in Australia. There are no chemical processes involved in the manufacture of our product, which is why we guarantee it is perfectly natural.
Olsson's sea salt is from two of the most pristine bodies of water found in Australia. We take pride in maintaining all the marine minerals and trace elements found in these two unique locations: Port Alma, Queensland and Whyalla, South Australia.
Olsson's Pool Salt
Olsson's Pool Salt is a dry, refined sea salt (sodium chloride) specifically made for use in swimming pools. Produced in Australia by solar evaporation, harvested and refined in accordance with good manufacturing practice, under HACCP and SQF Code systems, verified by BSI. It complies with Standards 2.10.2 (salt and salt products) of the Food Standards Code Australia New Zealand-Volume 2.
